HANNAH HOLSCHER | JUNIOR DESIGNER
Hannah grew up in Tiburon, CA, surrounded by design as both of her parents are architects. She attended the University of California, Berkeley, and received a bachelor’s degree in architecture. Berkeley’s emphasis on sustainability in building practices inspires her, and she is currently a LEED GA and pursuing further credentials. Hannah spent a summer working at an architecture firm in Prague that further emphasized in the built environment. Hannah interned at Feldman Architecture, where she gained a love for high-end residential design.
After graduation, Hannah joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corp and moved to Chicago to work for an affordable housing developer non-profit. There she developed multi-family housing while working with a razor-thin budget. Her clientele consisted of the formerly homeless with varying mental and physical abilities. Her firm strove to instill a sense of safety, stability, dignity, and beauty into her clients’ lives through housing and design. Hannah joined the JmA team in 2021. When she is not at jmA, she is perfecting her woodturning craft, swimming in the bay, or (electric) Lyft biking around town.
