Corey Moxon
COREY MOXON | DIRECTOR
Born and raised in Colorado, Corey grew up surrounded by design in his mother’s interior design studio and developed an infallible connection with nature. During an immersive program in Stadt Bad Wildungen, a novel perception of German daily life and focused design pursuit left a lasting impression. While attending the University of Colorado, Boulder, Corey obtained a Bachelor’s of Environmental Design focused in architecture, with the connection to nature propagating a notion towards the site responsive design methodology.
In the search for a wider breadth of knowledge in design, Corey worked in a graphic design studio prior to beginning his career in single-family residential architecture. Corey lived, worked, and engaged with instrumental tutors John Pawson, Frida Escobedo, and Rick Joy to explore the notion of contextually responsive design while attending the Immersion Master Class in Woodstock, Vermont.
Corey joined the jmA team in 2016 and is currently in the process of procuring his licensure. Life outside the studio is often consumed with discovering new music or reading about architecture, typography, or graphic design.
